CENIT consistently realizes its goal of providing its customers with the highest quality and reliability. January 16, 2006, CENIT AG received certification that the company had introduced and used a quality management system for the areas of IT consultancy, IT services and software development. This documents CENIT’s high standard of quality on an ongoing basis. A comprehensive audit proved that this quality management system fulfils the requirements of the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 (now DIN EN ISO 9001:2008) standard. Certification was carried out by the German Association for Certification of Management Systems (DQS), under the management of Andre Dubsky.
The audit was conducted from October 19, 2005 to December 15, 2005 and went smoothly. “The essential criteria such as policy and strategy, employee development and resources management, customer requests as well as internal and external processes, statistics and key data were already available and thus only had to conform to the standard,” Andre Dubsky, Head of Auditing at DQS, summarizes his experiences with CENIT.
„Both the future-oriented field of activity as well as the extremely pleasant and cooperative working atmosphere can be found throughout the company”, affirms co-auditor Prof. Dr. Reinhard Wonneberger. “The entire audit showed exemplary cooperation on all levels. The processes are incoprorated by all CENIT employees and the management. The entire process model is strongly oriented on everyday practice so that employees were quickly acquainted with the respective processes.” The auditors unreservedly approved the certification.
Customer satisfaction is the highest commodity
Christian Pusch, CFO at CENIT and also responsible for QMB, stresses the importance of the certification: “CENIT AG’ uppermost goal is to maintain the highest quality and reliability for customers in the current target markets. Their expectations are the basis for our trade. All of our employees are responsible for quality”. Internal audits are carried out to determine the effectiveness of the management system. Alongside the task of examining whether the management system is implemented and used as per the standard, it is also meant to serve to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
„External auditors now examine the company’s quality management on a yearly basis”, adds CFO Christian Pusch. “We thereby ensure that the high commodity quality reaches the highest possible level also in regard to changing market and company conditions.
Christian Pusch gives the following advice: “The following aspects are crucial to maintaining a position as a successful company in the information technology field: a process-oriented approach, motivated employees and continuous improvement of IT consultancy, IT services and software development. Only when accounting these factors, can a company assert itself successfully on the market in the long run”.
