• Assembly Instructions for the Automotive Industry

  The 3DVIA Composer is often used for assembly instructions in manufacturing. Volkswagen and its suppliers for example use so-called PDM leaflets (product detail manufacturing instructions) for explaining the individual assembly processes through detailed presentations and short texts on the work sequences in a very clearly arranged way.

  The generation of these PDM leaflets is highly facilitated through the 3DVIA Composer. The software generates all views and detail and sectional drawings as well as all annotations directly from the uploaded CAD data. Furthermore, all publications are synchronized with the respective CAD data at any time and thus kept updated.

• Impressive Presentation of Instructions

  The 3DVia Composer facilitates easy illustrations of complexe assembly processes in operational, maintenance and assembly instructions for all assembly data.

  Since V5 Release 19, the 3DVIA Composer is also integrates into the DELMIA Work Instruction Composer. Entire production sequences from DELMIA are defined through individual sequences of assembly operations. The Composer then visualizes these operations for the assembly staff.
